Discover Newport is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the nine townships of Newport & Bristol Counties (Jamestown, Little Compton, Bristol, Warren, Tiverton, Barrington, Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth) as a premier destination for business and leisure travel. Discover Newport’s promotional efforts include a year round advertising campaign which targets direct sales efforts, a public relations strategy, participation in numerous trade shows and comprehensive websites which include: www.GoNewport.com, www.YourNewportWedding.com, www.GoNewportrestaurantWeek.com. Discover Newport is available to aid in planning a meeting or corporate event, assist travel professionals; including media, tour operators and travel agents; and to provide information to help visitors enjoy the destination. Additionally, Discover Newport operates the Newport Gateway Visitor’s Center and the Bristol Visitor’s Center, which both offer admission tickets to area attractions and events, maps, brochures, local information and a convenient place to park.
