This modern interactive museum presents the compelling and poignant story of the French Canadians who left the farms of Quebec for the factories of New England. It illustrates the remarkable cultural preservation of faith, language, and customs. It also recreates the unique Woonsocket origins of the rise of the Independent Textile Union which grew to dominate every aspect of city life. Visitor Center is open daily, free parking, restrooms, picnic area.
