James Campagna's passion for cooking came early growing up in Bristol, RI, where he learned the ropes of working in a kitchen at a family restaurant in nearby Warren.

James received his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University and attended the Master Class program at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy, completing a demanding six-month program, mastering the secrets of Italian cuisine.

Today, James leads the Boat House culinary team, creating culinary delights at this quintessential seaside eatery.
