Exhibits include early radio, telegraph, and television equipment, as well as stationary steam, hot air, gas and oil engines. Reference library contains many early scientific texts. In a National Historic District and includes a National Register Historical Building, the world's oldest radio transmitting station with its working original equipment. Visits by appointment only. Annual Event: Yankee Steam-up takes place the first Saturday of October.
