The Museum’s collections and exhibitions focus on the visual artists of Rhode Island, reflecting on the region’s lively contemporary art scene and rich cultural heritage. The Museum also offers concerts (indoors and outside), art classes and camps, speakers, family Museum Explorers programs, live interactive Mystery theatre and special events throughout the year. The Museum's three-building campus includes the John N. A. Griswold House (1864), a National Historic Landmark designed by Richard Morris Hunt in the Stick Style.
