Experience our marvelous marsupials like never before! Our new Outback Trail in Base Camp Australasia is a walk-through exhibit where you'll get up-close with kangaroos and wallabies. You will enter a rustic cabin to cross a moat and hop along a trail right through the middle of the exhibit - no fences! The pathway is clearly marked, and a rope assures guests don't stray directly into the animals' space. Gray kangaroos Sharlotte, Mickey and Lisa now share their exhibit with a number of their smaller Bennette's wallaby cousins. The exhibit will open on April 1st, and is free with Zoo admission.
