Talk & Taste with the Authors of "Scallops: A New England Coastal Cookbook"

Mother-daughter authors Elaine and Karin Tammi have taken a local favorite, scallops, and produced a cookbook on the subject that is as much about the story of scallops as it is about the recipes. Readers of the cookbook will also get an appreciation of the cultural heritage of the bay scallop and sea scallop industries. This talk will feature some of the stories that went into making the book (including the encouragement of Julia Child), as well as a tasting of scallops from one of the recipes, "Scallops in their Shells".
