As in traditional radio drama with script in hand the story is told in a series of flashbacks by a young girl while in conversation with an aged writer. The Girl, a young victim of statutory rape is a victim of her own guilt and insecurities and is found as easy prey by a series of characters. The play seeks to explore how young girls in our highly sexualized society can be taken advantage of by older boys and authority figures, and who then often turn to drugs, as they spiral downward into a nether world that exploits them for their age and vulnerability. The play also explores the questions surrounding the ethics of artists using such sensitive subjects as the raw material for their own creations.
