In commemoration of Queen Elizabeth II's 60-year reign, the Providence Singers will present a concert comprised of the music performed during her 1953 coronation. The performance will include selections from England's glorious musical past: Handel's Zadok the Priest, which has been part of every coronation since George II in 1727, and newer works by Herbert Howells, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Healy Willan and others. The Brown University Chorus will join the Singers for this majestic celebration.
