

The Audubon Environmental Education Center is a unique natural history museum and aquarium that puts fun and excitement into experiencing nature. Interactive environmental exhibits allow you to look inside a thirty-three-foot life-size model of a Right Whale, observe marine life in a tide-pool tank, explore a cornfield at night, and view other fascinating nature exhibits. Walking trails lead from the Center across the twenty-eight-acre McIntosh Wildlife Refuge along a quarter-mile boardwalk, which crosses the East Bay Bike path to Narragansett Bay.
1401 Hope Street36' Express Cabin Cruiser offers charter service within Narragansett Bay. Charters run from 4 to 8 hours with any variety of activities, including fishing, sightseeing, harbor tours, swimming, picnic on the water, etc.

From water quality to invasive species monitoring there is always new and exciting research going on in the lab. Visitors can tour our exhibit rooms and view our rotating local artists's exhibit. Spend time walking or biking the trails around the south end of Prudence Island to see some of the beauty Narragansett Bay's research reserve has to offer.

100 Save the Bay DriveSave The Bay 's Exploration Center & Aquarium is a hands-on marine science learning center and home to 50 species of local Narragansett Bay critters. The Center has over 14 different exhibits representing the different habitats of Narragansett Bay. The Center is open for school and group programs year round and to the public daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on Saturdays from September through April. $5 admission for all ages; Free for STB members and children under 3 years old.
