All aboard..The Newport Dinner Train for a unique adventure in dining and travel which departs from world-class Newport, RI April through late October. Step back in time as you board the classically restored rail coaches that authentically reflect the ambiance of the Golden Age of Railroading. Enjoy the sights and sounds along scenic Narragansett Bay on a 22-mile round trip Journey. Luncheon excursions are available Thursday and Saturday departing at noon while Friday and Saturday evenings feature candlelight dinners, Comedy Murder Mystery dinners and Family Night on the Rails. In addition, touring train rides are offered on Thursday and Saturday with a noon departure time. Children's events include A Day Out with Thomes and The Polar Express. Celebrating its 16th season, The Newport Dinner Train has been featured on the Food Network for dining excellence and listed as one of the best dinner trains in the country.
