The Rhode Island State House is an historic, turn of the century building which houses Rhode Island's Senate and House of Representatives, as well as the offices of the Rhode Island General Officers. Guided tours are available Monday through Friday at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 2:00pm. Some highlights of the tour are the building's dome (the 4th largest self-supported marble dome in the world), the State Library, the Governor's State Room, as well as the chambers of the Senate and House of Representatives. A self- guided tour brochure is also available to explore the building at one's one leisure.
