Established in 1789, this is the first Methodist church in the state, second in New England. Second in New Bedford. Scene of occasional art attacks throughout the summer. The only building on National Register in Warren. Tri-level Georgian spire rises 160 feet. Sailors use the light situated from top of spire as a navigation marker when they enter Narragansett Bay.
