Farmhouse built by Job Joy, a cobbler and farmer. Five rooms furnished with period antiques. One of five Cranston houses on the National Rochambeau Trail and the only one open to the public. Gambrel-roof farmhouse built in 1754. A fine example of early architecture-one center chimney with three fire places-Joy Homestead is an official historic site on the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route. Open for Rochambeau Biscuit Day every June 18. School tours available by appointment.
