Guidelines for Submitting Events

What events are eligible for submission to the arts calendar?
The Rhode Island Tourism Division considers an eligible "event" to be: a theatrical or musical performance, public show or exhibit, or other form of artistic entertainment which may be of interest to a large number of people visiting or living in Rhode Island. "Events" must have finite dates and be open to the public.

How does the submission process work?
After the submission form is completed it is sent to a staff member for determination of eligibility, as listed above. Once the details are approved, the Calendar Editor posts the listing to the online calendar at www.visitrhodeisland.com. The Tourism Division reserves the right to edit or refuse publication of submitted events. Listings will typically post within 3 business days.
