From The Abbey to XO Café and so many tasty places in between, Providence Winter Restaurant Week, running January 14-27, may require you to put those New Year’s resolutions on hold and dig into some of the best food in Rhode Island. Featured eateries are not confined to the capital city but embrace the best in culinary experiences around the state.

Diners will be able to choose from about 80 restaurants offering three-course, prix fixe lunches for $14.95 and three-course prix fixe dinners for $29.95 and $34.95. A full list of all participating restaurants may be found at www.providencerestaurantweeks.com. Check the site regularly as restaurants are added during the course of the event.

Showcasing the restaurants of Providence and beyond has become a tradition not only in winter but summer as well. Another tasty run happens July 8-21, and not to be outdone, Newport is also known for showing off the fine dining there with its Newport Restaurant Weeks which run March 2-11 and November 2-11.
