“Seaside” Gallery at Jessica Hagen Fine Art & Design

Jessica Hagen Fine Art + Design is pleased to announce the opening of “Seaside” with a reception on Saturday, March 8th from 5:00-7:00 PM. This exhibition features new paintings by artists Patricia Davis Ganek and Timothy Ohliger. Ganek is a lifelong artist who has been painting professionally for over forty years and her work is in hundreds of private and corporate collections. She describes her seascapes as “labors of love” and endeavors to capture the ocean in a spontaneous and expressive way.

Timothy Ohliger is a 2006 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and has been exhibiting his work with Jessica Hagen’s gallery since 2008. Ohliger’s seascapes are astute observations of light that exude the artist’s reverence for the natural world.

Gallery owner Jessica Hagen states, “This show is a must- see for anyone who loves the ocean. Each artist’s stylistic approach differs greatly from that of their counterpart and the resulting contrast between the work is exciting. What the artists share is the ability to beautifully capture the seaside.”
