On Friday, November 17th at 7pm, Sojourner House will host its 13th Annual Masquerade Ball inside the grand ballroom at the Graduate Providence. This year’s theme is Celestial Visions, providing a star map to a party out of this world! Guests can anticipate a dazzling evening of live music, dancing, stardust, and fortune telling.
Dripping in cosmic elegance, this year’s festivities will include an astrological inspired cocktail hour, a silent auction, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and special performances from Toys 2 Men, Extraordinary Rendition Band (ERB), and more!
During the ball, Sojourner House will sponsor a celestial-themed dessert contest and challenge the city’s best bakeries to create the top voted confectionery masterpiece. And of course, once our “celebrity” judges cast their votes, guests of Celestial Visions will be invited to sample and savor the entries!
The Masquerade Ball is Sojourner House’s largest yearly fundraising event, and in addition to being a lot of fun, it will help raise critical unrestricted funds to pay expenses that many of our grants cannot. Ultimately, we host the Masquerade Ball so that we can better support and empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in the RI community.
