24th Annual Breakthrough T1D Tee Up Golf Classic

The 24th Annual Breakthrough T1D Tee Up Golf Classic is the longest running charity golf tournament in Rhode Island, raising critical funds for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy efforts. Type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease in which the pancreas stops producing insulin, a hormone needed to receive energy from food. People living with T1D rely on pumped or injected insulin to survive, and there is currently no cure. Breakthrough T1D is the world's leading organization in T1D research and advocacy, working to find cures while also improving the lives of those currently living with the disease.
