- July 27, 2019
Save The Bay Swim is Save The Bay’s largest annual fundraiser, approximately 500 swimmers and 200 kayakers tackle a 1.7 nautical mile open water journey across Narragansett Bay to raise not only funds but awareness to support our ongoing restoration, protection and advocacy efforts.
In its 43rd year, the Swim, once featuring swimmers tackling oil- and tar-ball-filled waters now serve as a celebration of the recreational benefits of protecting local waters.
Year after year this open water swim gathers swimmers and volunteers from across the country to support Save The Bay in this amazing test of fitness.
