In this milestone year, “Ruby” (as in 40th anniversary) is our theme. With that in mind, we want to convey a lightheartedness to reflect the happiness, laughter, and energy this event has historically engendered. And so, in keeping with this whimsical approach, and bringing past to meet present, we chose an iconic image - Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers – to “follow our yellow brick road” to Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and Hidden Treasure Gala 2023. And, of course, “I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore…….” is a passing reference that we are sure is not lost on all you Wizard of Oz fans out there. (BTW - The Wicked Witch will not be making an appearance at the Gala, we promise)
Speaking of “past meets present,” the historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is the perfect setting for this year’s signature event. It has the space and the elegance to host what we’re planning as our biggest Gala to date. The goal is to welcome 350 – 400 guests, 25 of our region's finest and most celebrated and talented Executive Chefs/Culinary Partners, Vineyards, and Craft Brewers. Additionally, we plan on dancing to live, Big Band music this year; and the VIP Reception, hopefully, will feature a fabulous young singing talent recently headlined at Carnegie Hall in NYC. We haven’t even mentioned auction packages galore or art auctions. And that’s just the beginning… So, get out your dancing shoes, (or click on those ruby slippers) as you plan for Hidden Treasure Gala 2023
And a word to the wise… this event has sold out one month/six weeks in advance in recent years. So, get your table reserved as early as possible. This year promises to be one for the ages – as befits our Ruby Anniversary Hidden Treasure Gala!
