Eric Lutes, local artist, and actor, will be offering a two-day acting class at the Courthouse Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Jan 15th, and Wednesday, January 16th, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The class is a total of eight hours and the cost is $260. Eric will be joined by veteran actor, Andy Lauer, as co-instructor of the class.
Mr. Lauer is not only an actor, but he is a feature and documentary filmmaker who has mentored under the direction of filmmakers Oliver Stone, David Fincher, and James Burrows. He's best known as 'Charlie' in the long-running hit TV show Caroline in the City.
Eric is thrilled to be sharing his acting expertise with local residents in acting classes to be held at the Courthouse. Eric is most widely known as an actor on primetime television in such leading roles as Del Cassidy on Caroline in the City, Tom Duran on Frasier, Jake Carlson, father to the Olsen twins in So Little Time, and most recently opposite fellow Rhode Islander, Viola Davis, in How To Get Away With Murder.
Eric is excited to showcase his talents at the Courthouse Center for the Arts and believes strongly in the importance of all forms of art in our culture. He is delighted to live in a state that is so vibrant and alive with so many talented artists, actors, and musicians.
