Annual Angels Giving Back Charity 5K Run/Walk Returns this June!

Johnston, RI - Angels Giving Back, a Rhode Island 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building community through giving back, is excited to announce their upcoming 5th annual 5K run/walk at 10 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 685 Greenville Ave, One Citizens Bank Way in Johnston, RI.

Angels Giving Back pays tribute to Mario and Valia Coletta, founders of Colbea Enterprises and
Seasons Corner Market. They built their company through hard work, determination, and a deep commitment to positively impacting people’s lives. They never forgot their roots and the support they received along the way, which inspired them to give back to the community. Carrying on their legacy, Angels Giving Back donates 100% of the net proceeds from this event to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Tomorrow Fund, and the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.

Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community. This event is family-friendly, with all ages welcome! There will be music, games, and giveaways. Participants will receive a gift bag and a T-shirt. All finishers receive a medal. Complimentary light snacks and drinks will be provided. Be sure to arrive early to enter for a chance to win great prizes from 92 PROFM and Cat Country. DJs from both stations will be there to kick off the 5k and cheer on the participants. 

Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. The race starts at 10 AM. Participants can pre-register online for $40 or sign up on race day for $50. Online registration for youth ages 12 and under is $10. There are discounts for teams of 6 or more.
