Aquidneck Community Table, a not-for-profit organization, operates a farmers market every Wednesday from 2PM - 6PM on Memorial Boulevard (between Chapel Street and Edgar Court) in Newport in the summer and fall (June through mid-October).
We also operate a market every Saturday morning from 9AM to 12PM, currently in the parking areas of Pell Elementary School, 35 Dexter Street, Newport.
Our markets serve as sales outlets for almost 50 farmers and small food businesses within 50 miles of the center of Aquidneck Island, important to the growth of a regional supply chain and the survival of many local farms. SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), WIC (Women, Infants and Children Program) and Senior Citizen Farmers Market Vouchers are all accepted at our markets in order to ensure that fresh, healthy foods are available to all, no matter their financial circumstances.
Please visit our website to review our COVID-19 farmers market protocols. Please observe these protocols to ensure the market operates in the most responsible way possible: https://aquidneckcommunitytable.org/market
