The Rhode Island Department of Health is implementing a new COVID-19 risk assessment based on updated guidance from CDC. The guidance measures risk on a county-by-county basis. Join Audubon for a weekend of unsurpassed fall birding. Block island in autumn becomes the resting place for thousands of migrating birds. More than 125 species of birds have been seen here on fall weekends! Led by experts, field trips for both novices and advanced birders are featured. Special programs include salt marsh field trips, bird banding demonstrations and more. This trip is physically challenging. Be prepared to walk on rough terrain for several hours each day. Cost of the weekend includes ferry tickets, accommodations, most meals and programs.
Space is limited so please register early. $565 / members; $595 / non-members. An additional fee of $150 is required for individuals requesting a single room. There is a $300 additional fee for a private single room with private bath. Note: There are only two rooms with private bath.
