Booked Author Series Brings Bestselling Authors to Providence Each Month
Providence, Rhode Island – December 2024
The Booked Author Series is excited to announce Booked, a monthly literary event launching on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Fleur Providence, located on the second floor of the Omni Hotel in downtown Providence. Booked will feature 3-5 bestselling authors every month, bringing together readers and writers for intimate readings, engaging moderated discussions, and book signings. The series aims to create a warm, relaxed, and fun atmosphere for book lovers in Rhode Island.
The inaugural event on January 28, 2025, will showcase Alison Espach (The Wedding People), Betsy Lerner (Shred Sisters), Catherine Newman (Sandwich), and J. Courtney Sullivan (The Cliffs). Each author will read a brief selection from their most recent novel, participate in a lively discussion moderated by Katie Kinnell (founder of Booked and bookseller at Books on the Square), and sign books for attendees.

A ticket to Booked includes admission to this intimate event, where attendees can hear from bestselling authors, gain insight into their writing process, and have their books signed. Guests will also have access to purchase the authors' most recent books, as well as their previous works.
While at Fleur, attendees can enjoy a range of food and beverage options, including signature cocktails named after the authors, appetizers, dinner, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Ticket Information:
Tickets are available for purchase through the Booked Author Series website or via Eventbrite. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased in advance. If space permits, walk-ins will be welcome. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
