Trace the same steps walked by the colonial-era Jewish community in Newport and see where congregants lived, worked, and worshipped in the 1700s. The walking tour takes you through the Touro Synagogue neighborhood and brings the synagogue’s rich history to life!
The walking tour takes about an hour and is weather dependent. Tours are limited to 18 people and reservations are requested. Please note that some of the sidewalks are narrow and uneven. Please note: There is no synagogue entry for the tour program. Virtual tours are available here.

Walking tour only: $18
Walking tour tickets are not available for sale online. Purchase walking tour tickets at the Loeb Visitors Center, 52 Spring Street. The Visitors Center is the point of entry for all tours.
