Free Community Movie Night Series at Miantonomi Park
Hosted by Newport Health Equity Zone
The Newport Health Equity Zone is excited to host a free outdoor movie series at Miantonomi Park this summer and fall as part of our ongoing work to “unlock” the park and strengthen community connection, access, and shared use of open, green spaces in the HEZ neighborhood.
This four-part series will take place on:
Community members are encouraged to come early, bring a blanket or chair, and help us set the tone for the evening together. This is a space to connect with neighbors, build relationships, and engage with local partners working alongside our community. Each night reflects the spirit of community, creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where residents come together, share space intentionally, and strengthen community connections in Miantonomi Park. Miantonomi Tower will be open for climbing before the screening.
All events are free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or chair and join the Newport Health Equity Zone for a season of outdoor movies, community connection, and ongoing efforts to build community connectedness.
