Join Maggie Hatzpanian, the Herbalist behind Maggie's Healing Path, for this interactive, hands-on workshop where you will learn the basics of blending herbs to create a healing herbal tea.
Maggie will share slides and discuss the process used by Herbalists to create blends, including how the selection of plants for effect and flavor is key to creating nourishing, effective, and tasty Herbal Teas for your health and wellness.
In this two-hour workshop, you will have access to all the ingredients and materials needed to create two different tea blends that you can take home to enjoy yourself or share with others.
About the Presenter:
Maggie Hatzpanian is a dedicated herbal educator, offering year-round programming at the Norman Bird Sanctuary that connects people to the healing power of plants. As a Master Gardener and community partner, she shares her deep knowledge of herbal traditions, helping others cultivate well-being through nature.
Her handcrafted, locally made herbal products—available in our Barn Owl Gift Shop—offer visitors a chance to bring home a piece of her botanical teachings. Through hands-on workshops, wellness programs, and thoughtfully cultivated gardening, Maggie fosters a meaningful bond between people and the natural world.
