Hop aboard for a wonderful train excursion to learn more about the history of the Blackstone River Valley!
Your trip begins at 9 AM in Woonsocket, RI. From there you’ll take a 2-hour train ride through Blackstone Valley National Heritage Corridor up to Worcester, MA on your way to Putnam, CT.
For this trip, we’ve partnered with historian Barbara Zdravesky to create a tour booklet that includes an informative history of the cities and towns along our route to enjoy at your leisure.
Once we arrive, explore Putnam to find some amazing antiquing spots, acclaimed local restaurants, art galleries, craft beer, historic sites, their giant sandcastle & scarecrow display along the Quinebaug River at Rotary Park, and much more!!!
After a fun-filled day, the train will depart at 2:30 PM for return back to Woonsocket, RI at 4:30.
