Glacier Park’s landscape is perfect for a full moon hike, overlooking the land once carved by enormous glaciers during the last ice age. The glaciers left behind kettle ponds, kettle holes, and huge boulders. We will learn all about this landscape and its inhabitants. This hike is moderate level due to hills and uneven, rocky footing.
Please arrive on time as we leave promptly at 6 PM. Contact Hike Leader, Donna Anderson, at (203) 470-4566 prior to the Full Moon Hike if you plan to attend. Hikers will meet at the trailhead off of Tom Harvey Road just outside the entrance to Winnapaug Cottages. Please park in the designated area outside of the Winnapaug Cottages gate or in the parking lot across the street.
