Guided Tours of Lippitt House Museum

Join a guided tour through the elaborately decorated rooms of Lippitt House and explore how Providence’s history shaped the Rhode Island of today.

Staff share stories focusing on the people who lived and worked in the house in the 19th century, illustrating ideas about industry, immigration, design and civic engagement. 

From May to October, Lippitt House Museum is open on Fridays as well as select Saturdays. Capacity is limited and advance reservations are recommended.
