Hope Street Block Party

The East Side of Providence’s lively spring festival returns bigger than ever, with live bands, family fun, street entertainment, makers/artisans/vintage vendors, food trucks, and a beer & cocktail garden to benefit Hope Street Merchants Association.

The Hope Street Merchants Association (HSMA) is thrilled to announce its biggest annual event, the Hope Street Spring Block Party, will return this spring! Taking place for the first time since 2019, the Block Party will expand for several blocks on Hope Street on Saturday, May 20 from 11am - 5pm. This event is free, family friendly, and open to all.

Hope Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Rochambeau Avenue to Fifth Street, creating space for more than a quarter-mile of fun, drawing visitors from all over Rhode Island and beyond to one of Providence’s most unique and vibrant neighborhoods. The Spring Block Party’s beer and cocktail garden will feature selections from Narragansett Beer, Moniker Brewery, Sprawl Hard Seltzer, Ketel One Botanicals, Captain Morgan, and more.
