We're celebrating like never before! Newport becomes Amity Island with a Memorial Day Weekend frenzy for lovers of the JPT's most popular film. Presenting as always with the help of our friends at What's Up Newp 3 screenings of JAWS complete with killer live music from local bands, beer & wine tastings, and awesome community partners (Amity means friendship as you know!) 

Friday, May 23rd- Doors @ 6:00, Live Music by The TeleDynes at 6:30, Movie @ 7:30. Featuring a shark touch-tank in the lobby from Save The Bay! Tickets: $20, $18 JPT Members

Sunday, May 25th- Doors @ 5:30, Live Music by Los Duderinos @ 6:00, Movie @ 7:00. Tickets $20, $18 JPT Members

Monday, May 26th- Doors @ 3:30 (strictly a screening) Movie @ 4:30. Tickets $15, $13 JPT Members.

There's nothing like seeing Jaws on the big screen with an shark-crazed audience of fans: When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.
