Love Matters Everywhere Sculpture Installation

Internationally acclaimed contemporary artist and Providence native Brendan Murphy returns home to unveil a 4-foot Love Matters bear sculpture. Located near Brown University and Thayer Street, this public installation transforms a private space into a community symbol of healing, hope, and optimism.
This marks the first installation in Murphy’s global Love Matters Everywhere series, part of his BOONJI universe, designed to inspire connection and generate positive energy worldwide. The unveiling also serves as a meaningful tribute ahead of Mother’s Day, honoring caregivers and the enduring impact of love. The unveiling is open to the public; all are welcome to attend.
