Kids love splashing and squishing and mucking about. That’s why kids — and their parents — love Marsh Mucking walks with the Nature Conservancy. So get everyone to wear their water shoes (a must for the kids) and get over to Andy’s Way on Monday mornings at 9am.
A Nature Conservancy staffer meets the group on the beach and takes you on a scavenger hunt through the salt marsh. It’s all about the thrill of discovery as kids learn to really look, really see and really pay attention to the wonders of nature (plants, animals, birds and sea life) that surround us. (Hey Dad, is that an egret or a heron, and how do we tell the difference?)
