E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a 1982 sci-fi family film directed by Steven Spielberg. The story centers on a young boy named Elliott, who discovers and befriends a gentle alien stranded on Earth. Elliott hides the alien in his home and, with the help of his siblings, forms a deep emotional bond with him. It’s considered a timeless classic for both kids and adults because of its mix of adventure, humor, suspense, and heartwarming storytelling.
