Nature Drawing at Blithewoldwith Artist/Instructor Joanne Murrman

The Nature Drawing Class is an opportunity to look at Blithewold’s gardens and landscapes for inspiration. Working from pictures and natural materials, the class will focus on observational drawing skills, color theory, and composition in pencil drawing.

Each week, a different concept of drawing and technique will be covered. The main material will be colored pencils with various options offered in class. Paper and all art materials are provided by the instructor, but students may bring their own supply of art materials if desired.

Beginning, intermediate, and experienced students are encouraged to attend. Registration is required.

Preregistration is required. Each class is limited to 15 people.

April 24: Hellebore & Background Techniques

May 1: Primrose
May 8: Tulip & Clematis
