Newport Artists Collective Salon Series - Artist Karen Roarke

The Newport Artist Collective's “Salon Series @ The Brenton Hotel” is designed to give Brenton Hotel guests and the Newport community a chance to speak to local artists and gallery owners to learn more about Newport, RI's vibrant fine art scene. The Salon is held every Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and highlights a different artist or gallery.
The art of Karen Roarke will be featured October 24th. A member of NAC, Roarke is an abstract painter who uses acrylics to explore the palette, shapes and light found in the natural world and optical phenomena.
The Brenton Hotel Library is located on the second floor of 31 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840. The Newport Artists Collective is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
