March with Pride! Our colorful parade winds through the local area of Newport, with Pride, bikes, and community spreading love and joy. We will start at the Great Friends Meeting House and visit some of our iconic spots like Equality Park, where the first Newport Pride Fests were held, our rainbow crosswalks, and the Newport Pride Center!

Newport PrideFest is a vibrant, community-centered celebration of love, visibility, and belonging, bringing together LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and visitors in the heart of Newport. As part of a multi-day Pride weekend, PrideFest transforms the historic Great Friends Meeting House and surrounding areas into a joyful hub of connection, creativity, and celebration.

Following the Pride Parade through downtown Newport, the festival features live music, drag performances, local artists, community organizations, and a diverse marketplace of vendors and food trucks. Designed to be welcoming and family-friendly, PrideFest offers something for everyone—whether you’re dancing to live entertainment, exploring local resources, or simply celebrating with friends and chosen family.
