Our festival serves as a gathering space for Aquidneck Island residents & Rhode Island queer/ally communities to unite. Our festival celebrates identity, resilience, community, and
uplifting one another through joy, visibility, and education. PrideFest features a diverse lineup of performers. From drag artists, singer-songwriters, DJ’s, and all-age dance groups, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. This family-friendly event has food trucks with various options for you to enjoy, and ample space for picnics on the grass under our tent. There are around 60 vendor spots; we have a variety of businesses, non-profits, artists, and creators for you to explore. With an attendance of around 5,000 people! To kick off the festivities, participants can join the annual parade at the festival's commencement, escorted by cars, bikes, and the Newport Police Department. As the festival continues to grow, our hearts expand alongside it.
