Open House

The East Providence Historical Society June Open House at the John Hunt House Museum will be on June 14 from 1-3:30 pm

There will be docent-led museum tours. 

The exhibit will be the Semiquincentennial

12 pm Hike - Meet at the Gazebo     

1-3 pm - Ancestry Research at the Education Center

9 am to 4 pm - Revolutionary War Encampment Demonstration.  The 13th Continental Regiment will be presenting a Revolutionary War encampment and demonstration that will take place in front of the Hunt's Mills property and will include demonstrations of 18th century crafts and skills as well as drills and demonsrations of musket firing.  Demonstrations will recreate the lifestyles , clothing, equipment, drill, battle scenarios and encampment of the men, women and children of the original 1774 company.
