The Redwood is pleased to welcome back pianist Itay Goren for a concert in the historic Harrison Room, featuring works by Handel, Haydn and Brahms. Along with a world premiere of the Piano Sonata, written by composer Randall Svane.
Described as "an evocative journey from shimmering excitement to calm contemplation"(Classical New Jersey), pianist Itay Goren's performances touch the heart and magically transport the imagination of the listener. Originally from Haifa, Itay Goren studied music at the Rimon School of Music in Tel Aviv before continuing his education at William Paterson University, where he graduated with a double major in classical and jazz performance. Itay Goren has performed solo concerts in Europe, Asia and the United States. He is currently on the faculty at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
