Join the State Library for a discussion of Serena Zabin’s “The Boston Massacre: A Family History” (Mariner Books, 2023) and Stephen Hopkins’ “The Rights of the Colonies Examined” (1764).
We recommend borrowing the book from your local public library. Discussions will center on specific chapters and excerpts. Primary source texts will be emailed in advance.
This discussion is part of a State Library book club series that will examine the lived experiences and perspectives of people living through the American Revolution. Each meeting, a work of historical, non-fiction will be paired with primary sources for participants to consider together for discussion.
