Join us aboard one of our education vessels as we motor through historic Newport Harbor and observe seals at Citing Rock—and learn a bit of history along the way! One-hour Seal Tours and two-hour Seal & Lighthouse Tours (complete with a stop on Rose Island) run all season long!

And, if you’re seeking a longer adventure, our two-hour Seal and Lighthouse Tour combines all the excitement of our traditional seal tours with the adventure that comes with a visit to the historic Rose Island Lighthouse. Get ready to disembark on the island to explore the site and experience the history firsthand.

When: November-April

• November 22 - 30, 2025 - Saturdays and Sundays
• December 6 - 28, 2025 - Saturdays and Sundays, along with December 29, 30, and 31
• January 2 - 31, 2026 - Saturdays and Sundays, along with January 2 and 19
• February 1 - 28, 2026 - Saturdays and Sundays, along with February 16 - 20, 2026 (School Vacation)
• March 1 - 29, 2026 - Saturdays and Sundays, along with March 30 and 31(excluding March 14)
• April 1 - 26, 2026 - Everyday (excluding April 5, 7, 8, and 15)

Where: Departing from Perrotti Park, 37 America’s Cup Ave. Newport, R.I.

Pricing:

One-Hour Seal Tour - $25, non-members; $20, Save The Bay members, seniors, children aged 3-12; $0, children under 3 years

Two-Hour Seal & Lighthouse Tour - $60, non-members; $55, Save The Bay members, seniors, children aged 3-12; $0, children under 3 years

Cancellation Policy:

All Seal Tours and Nature Cruises are subject to cancellation with customers receiving a full refund. If you cannot attend your scheduled trip, cancelations with at least 24 hours’ notice are entitled to a full refund. Save The Bay reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, tickets will be refunded or rescheduled according to the guest’s choice.
