About the Play: “A Mid-Summer Night's Dream" is a comedic play about love, magic and mistaken identity in Athens and the surround forest. The story revolves around the wedding of Duke Theseus and Hippolyta, with a subplot involving four young Athenian lovers who get caught in a series of romantic entanglements due to the interference of fairies. The play was written by William Shakespeare as a comedy sometime between 1595 or 1596 and considered one of his best and frequently performed plays. This play takes place in the “woodland realm of Fairyland, under the light of the moon”.
Tickets for the events are $20 each night at the door. Children 12 and under are free! For more information, call or text 401-440-7055. Food trucks may be available on premise.
