Spring Visitors Weekend at West Place Animal Sanctuary

He's cute, he's hilarious, but he won't be a baby for much longer. Learn about his journey to West Place, why Alfie arrived in the first place, and what the future holds for the baby emu.

• Interactive and educational guided walking tours from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM each day (maximum of 25 people per tour).
• Special 4:00 PM Driving Tours Each Day for those needing assistance (maximum of 5 people).
• Explore the West Place Gift Shop and discover one-of-a-kind, hand-made gifts you won't find anywhere else.
• Shop the Spring Plant Sale for herbs, vegetables, and flowers grown on-site in our greenhouses.
• Donate $25 or more in the Gift Shop to receive a thank you gift!

Online Discount: Adults $28, Children $15
At the Gate: Adults $30, Childre $15

Tours will sell out, so we encourage you to purchase your ticket online, in advance and take advantage of the discount. Walk-ins will be accommodated only as space allows and at full price.

All proceeds benefit the animals of West Place Animal Sanctuary.

Additional Details:

• Guided tours will leave every 30 minutes and will have a maximum of pre-booked 25 people per tour to ensure you have the best interactions with the animals.
• For planning purposes, we ask that tickets be purchased online in advance for a discount. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows but tickets sold at the gate will be full price.
• Spring Visitors Weekend will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
• Please contact us at 401-228-6800 before purchasing tickets if you require special accommodations or have questions. 
• Those needing assistance navigating the property are able to tour on our brand new CRU electric club car at 4 p.m. both days (maximum of 5 persons).
• Please note there are no ticket refunds once you are registered.

Tours will run approximately 90 minutes, rain or shine.
