Sturgeon Moon Paddle

There is something wistful and romantic about moonlight and there are few better places to see it than from the Inn, which looks east down the salt pond. Come toast to the Sturgeon Moon – named after the fish commonly caught this time of year – for it is especially big and bright from Earth’s perspective given the closeness of the moon’s orbit. Paddle from our dock to greet the incredible illumination in the sky from a remote stretch of beach, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, and then paddle home across placid waters under the moon’s silvery light.
