The Artist Cooperative Gallery of Westerly Annual Flower Show, “Birds, Bees & Blooms,” with The Ocean Community Garden YMCA Garden Club

This month the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly (ACGOW) is pleased to present the June Show – The Annual Flower Show, “Birds, Bees & Blooms.” June’s show will be alive with creative and colorful floral arrangements crafted by the floral artists of the Ocean Community YMCA Garden Club. Each participating club member will select a work of art as inspiration for a unique floral interpretation. Guests of the show will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique arrangements complementing the artwork on display during the first weekend of June. All are invited to view the show at the “First Friday” opening reception on Friday, June 6th from 5-8pm, meet the artists and enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres.

The June show will feature the works of artist members Tammy Blais and Janet Maher in the main gallery and the Southeastern Connecticut Life Drawing Group in the ACGOW Community Gallery.

In addition, the June show will include the art of 50+ artist members of the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly featuring a wide variety of 2 and 3 dimensional mediums. The 2-dimensional mediums will include a large selection of oils, watercolors, encaustic, acrylics, pastels, mixed media, photographs, cold wax & oil artwork. Art patrons can enjoy a diverse approach in both representational and abstract styles.
