The Breakers Greenhouse Guided Walk

The Breakers Greenhouse Guided Walk led by Jeff Curtis, Director of Gardens & Landscapes, The Preservation Society of Newport County

The Breakers Greenhouse, behind the Stable & Carriage House, is one of the longest-running estate gardens in the United States. Jeff Curtis, Director of Gardens & Landscapes, will provide a tour of the greenhouse and discuss how the work done there provides thousands of bedding plants and cut flowers for our historic properties. Guests will see how the poinsettias for Holidays at the Newport Mansions are propagated from cuttings and will be able to take home small plant material.
